If your are working while sitting, it is recommended that you switch between sitting & standing positions every hour. This is highly recommended if you spend more than 6 hours a day working in front of your your desk.
Switching between sitting & standing positions has been observed to increase productivity, boost energy, reduce back pains, and improve your health.
Sit Stand desks can help you only if your use them properly.
Ergonomics expert recommend that you should stand between 5-15 minutes of an hour. You should gradually increase your standing time from 5 minutes to 15 minutes, then maintain your sit-stand interval as 45 minutes of sitting & 15 minutes of standing of an hour.
Produktiv™ Desks come with an in-built reminder that will notify you by an LED light, when its time to stand/sit. By default a 50/10 split is configured, that means after 50 minutes of sitting the controller will show RED light, which means it is time to stand, and after 10 minutes of standing the controller will show a complete GREEN led, which means that it's time to sit now.
You can switch between 3 standard reminder intervals of 55/5, 50/10 & 45/15.
You can also connect with the Desk Control™ app (available on Play Store & App Store) and configure your customized sit/stand intervals. You can also opt to receive sitting & standing notifications on your phone.
We provide all the necessary tools, bolts & screws in the box. You do not need to purchase or find anything from your end.
In the Box you will also receive a paper with 4 different barcodes. Scan the barcode labelled "Assembly Instructions". This will open a PDF with the assembly instructions with photos of how to assemble the product.
We have designed the product to be assembled in about 15 minutes, and provided the necessary tools to do so.
